My newborn photography sessions in Killarney and across County Kerry take place in your own home, where everything feels familiar and unhurried. There’s no need for a perfect setup — I simply work around you and your baby, allowing time for feeding, settling and breaks.
I understand how emotional and overwhelming the newborn stage can be. Many parents feel unsure about being in photos, especially moms who are still adjusting after birth. You don’t need to pose or feel “ready” — my approach is gentle and supportive, focusing on real connection rather than perfection.
If you feel anxious about photos, an in-home newborn session is often the most comfortable option. Your baby is settled, you’re in your own space, and I quietly capture this short season — the tiny details, bonding and everyday moments you don’t want to forget.
Siblings are always welcome. There’s no pressure for perfect behaviour or full participation, but I will always try to include natural family and sibling images where possible.

Newborn Session
What to expect
Your newborn photography session takes place in the comfort of your own home in Killarney or the surrounding areas, allowing everything to feel calm, familiar, and unhurried.
There’s no need to travel or prepare anything perfectly. These sessions are completely baby-led, with plenty of time for feeding, changing, and settling whenever needed.
Rather than posed or styled setups, I focus on natural newborn photography. Capturing your baby just as they are… tiny details, gentle movements, and the connection between you as a family.
Sessions typically last around 1.5 hours, giving us space to move at your baby’s pace without any pressure. Siblings and parents are always welcome to be included in an easy-going and natural way. You don’t need to worry about posing or what to do. I’ll gently guide you while allowing real moments to unfold naturally.
1–2 weeks after your session, you’ll receive a private online gallery showcasing your best edited images. From there, you can choose your favourite photographs for your collection, with the option to upgrade or add extra digital images and print products if you wish.
How to Book
Get in touch and share a little about what you’d love from your session. If it feels like the right fit, we’ll choose a suitable date and get everything booked in for you.
We’ll meet at your chosen location or in the comfort of your home. The session is easy-going and natural, with gentle guidance from me while I capture genuine moments as they happen. Sessions usually last from 30 minutes, and newborn sessions last 1.5 hours.
After your session, I carefully edit your best images. Editing takes about 1-2 weeks. Then I will upload to a private online gallery for you to view.
You’ll receive your edited online gallery, where you can view the best images from your session. Depending on the collection you choose, you’ll be able to download your included images, with the option to purchase additional digital files or printed products if you’d like to.
Price Guide
I like to keep things simple and clear, while still giving you flexibility.
To secure your session date, a €200 session fee is required. This covers your 1.5-hour session, planning, and the time and care that goes into creating a personalised experience for your family. For locations more than 50 km from Killarney town, a small travel fee of €1 per km applies.
After your session, I personally curate and refine a private online gallery, selecting only the strongest images that reflect genuine connection, expression, and story. Each image is carefully edited in my signature style and presented with intention.
Your gallery is released once the chosen collection has been secured. The session fee reserves your date and time, and your collection includes the images you decide to keep.
You simply choose your favourites and download your high-resolution images.

• 15 digital images in colour
• Complimentary 15 black & white digital versions
Want more?
You can upgrade your collection or add extra digital images, prints, frames or albums after viewing your gallery. Options are flexible and available if you’d like more from your session.

When should we book our newborn session?
There’s no strict timeline for lifestyle newborn sessions. Whether your baby is a few days old or a few weeks (or even a couple of months), it’s always the right time to capture this season. What matters most is documenting your connection, just as you are.
Do I need to prepare my home before the session?
Not perfectly, no. I’ll work with the light and spaces you already have. A gentle tidy of the areas we’ll use is more than enough. Your home doesn’t need to look like a showroom; it just needs to feel like you.
What should we wear?
Think soft, comfortable, and neutral tones that work well together without matching exactly. Bare feet, cosy textures, and simple outfits photograph beautifully. I’m always happy to guide you beforehand if you’re unsure.
What if my baby is awake, fussy, or needs feeding?
That’s completely okay… and expected. These sessions follow your baby’s rhythm. We pause when needed, feed when needed, and go with the flow. Some of the most honest, meaningful images come from those in-between moments.
